Surprise ! kid’s apps are full of manipulative, unregulated advertising


The difference between games and gaming is increasing day by day.  Several apps like Google Play collect data on the kids who play with them . Not only this, there are certain children hit show such as Paw Patrol also have commercial breaks in simple term you can say advertisements in apps is very popular. Various data published in the journal of developmental and behavioral pediatrics at the University of Michigan says that approx. ninety five percent of games available in tablet and smart phone feature on or more advertisement.  There is a federal agency who supervised television ads but games available in these apps make their own set of rules.

The expert in behavioral department, “Jenny Radesky ” says  gaming is considered as one of the most entertainment source for kids  but these apps don’t treat kid in a right manner instead they treat like tiny adults and basically are designed to get money from their parents.  For example, eighty one percent of Americans out of 5 play video games regularly where as forty two percent of kids out of 8 have their own tablets. The method of Radesky’s is very serious whereas her way of experimenting is funny. She and her two partner analyses that Google Play app is very famous among children.

One hundred twenty nine children out of one hundred thirty five are involved in advertising.  While starting a game, there are so many teasers you need to see while playing the video.  Now play for kids are full of struggles and challenges. It should be unconstrained by the adults forces in your life. It is the duty of every parent to protect their children from such adult content.
